Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating SA Lotion is a lightweight, fragrance-free exfoliating lotion formulated with salicylic acid to gently remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture. Suitable for sensitive skin, it helps reveal smoother, clearer skin without harsh scrubbing.
Mild dryness, slight redness, or temporary irritation in sensitive individuals. Rare: contact dermatitis or excessive dryness.
Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if allergic to salicylic acid. May increase sun sensitivity—use SPF 30+ daily. Discontinue if severe irritation occurs. Not for use on broken or severely inflamed skin.

The gentle lotion base ensures this exfoliation is mild enough for regular use while minimizing irritation, making it suitable for maintaining clearer, healthier-looking skin over time.
Apply to clean, dry skin using a cotton pad or gentle applicator. Use once or twice daily, or as tolerated. Follow with moisturizer. For first-time users, start 2-3 times weekly.
Start with 2-3 times per week and increase frequency as skin adjusts. Use at night or in PM routine. Follow with a gentle moisturizer to prevent dryness. If using other exfoliants or active ingredients (retinol, vitamin C), space them out to avoid over-exfoliation.
