Clohex is an antimicrobial mouth wash formulated to maintain oral hygiene, reduce bacterial load in the mouth, and prevent plaque formation. It comes in a 150ml bottle suitable for daily use.
No significant interactions, but avoid prolonged use with certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines) as chlorhexidine may reduce their efficacy if used simultaneously
Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antimicrobial agent that works by disrupting the cell membranes of bacteria and fungi in your mouth. When you rinse with this mouthwash, it kills a broad spectrum of microorganisms that cause bad breath, plaque buildup, and gum inflammation. The 0.12% concentration is effective for daily use in preventing oral infections and maintaining better oral hygiene. Regular use helps reduce bacterial growth, keeping your mouth cleaner and fresher throughout the day.
Rinse mouth with 15-20ml (approximately 1 capful) for 30-60 seconds after brushing teeth, twice daily. Spit out completely; do not swallow.
