Liquid paraffin acts as a stool softener by lubricating the intestinal walls and coating the stool, making it easier to pass without straining. Magnesium hydroxide works as an osmotic laxative by drawing water into the intestines, which softens the stool and stimulates bowel movement. Together, these ingredients provide gentle, effective relief from constipation while reducing discomfort.
Oral: 15-30 mL once or twice daily, preferably at bedtime or as directed by physician. Shake well before use.
