No significant drug interactions (topical application). Avoid simultaneous use of other oral anesthetics.
Mucopain Gel contains benzocaine, a local anesthetic that works by blocking nerve signals in the area where it's applied. When you apply this gel to your mouth or throat, benzocaine numbs the tissues within a few minutes, providing quick relief from pain caused by mouth ulcers, sore throat, or oral irritation. The numbing effect typically lasts for several hours, allowing you to eat, drink, and speak more comfortably while the underlying condition heals.
Clean the affected area and pat dry. Apply a small quantity (pea-sized) directly to the ulcer or sore area. Do not swallow. Reapply every 2-3 hours as needed, or as directed by a dentist.
