Aspirin 325 mg per tablet
Disprin is an over-the-counter pain reliever and fever reducer containing aspirin. Each tablet provides 325 mg of aspirin for quick relief from mild to moderate pain and fever.
Aspirin works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, which are hormone-like substances in your body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. By reducing these prostaglandins, it helps relieve mild to moderate pain such as headaches, muscle aches, and period pain, while also reducing fever and inflammation. The medication typically begins working within 30 minutes to an hour of taking it. This tablet is commonly used for short-term pain relief and is also taken by some people in low doses to help prevent heart attacks and strokes.
Swallow 1 tablet with water, preferably after food. Can be repeated every 4-6 hours if needed. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours unless advised by a doctor.
